I had a heap of fun with Sophie & Vasili at their Ekhidna Wines Wedding.
I arrived early enough to join the girls in a quick spot of morning yoga, before heading to the guys.
Vasili was one to take great pride in his lawn, and brought out his vintage lawnmower collection for the boys to pose with, before a quick trip to Bunnings (where all the boys spend a lot of time) to duck in for a quick photo before anyone could tell us to leave, hah! Success!
Olive trees featured to reflect Vasili’s culture, as did the vines – a nod to Sophie’s winemaking. In fact, the bonbonniere was a bottle of sparking Pinot Noir Chardonnay – one of Sophie’s first vintages! (I’ve not tasted mine yet – I’m saving it for a special occasion…)
All in all a ripper of a day – it felt really special to be a part of. Thanks for having me you two!
