It’s hard to describe what an epic day today was always destined to be for this Adelaide Hills Wedding. I had photographed Nicola & Matt’s friends previously, and they’d partied very hard and were a heap of fun, so I’d been looking forward to NYE 2023 for months and months.
Matt’s family’s farm just out of MtBarker provided the perfect backdrop for some epic photos, and a great party to bring in the new year.
The boys went to Hahndorf for ‘metres and litres’ (a metre of German sausage and a litre of German beer) for breakfast. We happened across a game arcade on the way back to the car after and couldn’t help stop in for a little air hockey and Big Buck Hunter.
The night finished off at around 2am with the three of us taking some time out to the highest spot on their property for 15 mins of nighttime photos – a perfect way to bring in 2024.
